During the summer months we operate guided sea kayak tours along the spectacular Otaru–Shakotan coastline.

This stretch of coast has been designated a Quasi-National Park since 1963 and includes the only Marine Park in Hokkaido. Paddle across crystal-clear blue water, explore sea caves and hidden bays, and experience the dramatic cliffs of the Sea of Japan from the water.

Our guides are qualified kayak instructors, fully insured, and certified in Wilderness First Aid, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Otaru Sea Kayak tours typically run around 2 hours and are suitable for beginners and families with elementary-school-aged children. No previous kayaking experience is required.

We are the only operator offering sea kayak tours in English along this section of the coast.
